The Women’s International Music Network (theWiMN.com) has selected artist Ariana and the Rose as the winner of their opening act contest for their upcoming “Girls Night Out NYC” event. The event features live music, fashion, education, networking and fun at The Cutting Room in New York City on Thursday, October 19, 2017. Ariana and the Rose will kick off the evening, followed by performances from platinum-selling artist Lisa Loeb, sister duo Command Sisters, and Los Angeles singer/songwriter Jenna Paone.
Hailing from New York City, Ariana and the Rose was selected from countless entries for the contest, and will bring her emotional storytelling and heartfelt vocals for a sure-to-please performance. Hailed by Billboard as “Lyrically sincere, sonically enveloping synth-pop,” her music can be heard on Spotify, iTunes, Soundcloud, and her YouTube channel. Visit instagram to see more of her.
The evening will also feature an educational industry panel, on-site interactive sponsor displays, giveaways, gift bags, raffles, a silent auction and much more. This fundraising event will support the Women’s International Music Network’s efforts to create a voice for women in the music industry.
